You will be grateful.

You may not see it today or tomorrow, but you will look back in a few years and be absolutely perplexed and awed by how every little thing added up and brought you somewhere wonderful – or where you always wanted to be. You will realize that everything happened for a reason. You will be grateful that things didn’t work out the way you once wanted them to.’

  1. I am there too.. To realise that when you are submissive to anyone with the thought they will change, it never happens. Chances are given because we care, but others always use it to prove they are right.

  2. I agree that “many things” happen for a reason. However I do not think it is appropriate to say that “everything” happens for a reason. To say that means you must say that “God caused those men to fly the planes into the twin towers so something good could come out of it.” I clearly believe that many good things did come out of it, and that is true of every tragedy. But, to think that God controls everything, and that everything is part of God’s plan is not appropriate. God can and does work in the midst of every situation, and if we are paying attention, we learn from every situation, but that doesn’t mean God intended for us to have to go through many of things we do in life.
