When you love someone…

“When you love someone, truly love them, you lay your heart open to them. You give them a part of yourself that you give to no one else, and you let them inside a part of you that only they can hurt-you literally hand them the razor with a map of where to cut deepest and most painfully on your heart and soul. And when they do strike, it’s crippling-like having your heart carved out.”

    1. True commenter Mary Ann…when your kind of love is reciprocated the way you expressed it- great feeling….

  1. Disagree with this quote.

To love is to give unconditionally, without expectation of response or reward.

Love never hurts us. It is possessiveness, jealously, lust or simple rejection that will bring hurt and pain.

  2. I have experienced it one time and because of circumstances I hope to have it again soon. The Lord works for the better for the better for those who love the Lord! I have been blessed once and I feel it will be twice. There has not been any cutting or slashing and I don’t expect it now. That would be a ridiculous concept between adults!

  3. Maybe the person(s) who has done this very thing to me just wasn’t capable of appreciating, accepting, or valuing what a rare, precious, and invaluable gift he was receiving @ the time. I can forgive this person(s) for throwing me away like yesterday’s garbage and for the viciousness and cruelty of his attacks on me. However, as much as is humanly possible he (or any of his hombres or posse)will never be given the opportunity or chance to do any of those things or even worse to me ever again. I pray in Jesus’ name, amen 🙏!
