What do you do?

What do you do after you’ve given all that you have and you have nothing left to give. After you’ve tried and you’ve tried, after you’ve cried and you cried and that day finally comes when you realize that this is not how you want to live your life…
what do you do? You see, sometimes it’s not about having the strength to hold on, it’s about having the courage to let go.

  1. I just did this the beginning of December with a man I truly loved and will probably love the rest of my life. He suffers from BiPolar II and I tried and tried and held on because the person he was in his soul was and is a beautiful person perfect and whole. However, he let his disease define him and use it as an excuse for his behaviour and never took responsibility for taking his medicine and seeking the help and support that he desperately needed. He decided not to work on himself or our relationship and it was best for me to let him go. Life is not about seeing one’s errors but loving them as perfect and whole as God created them to be and letting them go.
