Forgiving Someone is easy, but being able to trust them again is a totally different story.

Truly forgiving isn’t easy. You will always remember the one that hurt you deeply. Forgiving must be allowed tho. Not for those that hurt you but for yourself so you can continue to move forward in your life. Trusting again? I’m @ a point in my life where I’ve been given 7 lessons placed before me regarding trust, all different ppl. I hadn’t learned the previous lessons. Or I’d let things go, or allow an excuse 4 others behaviours. So? The lesson kept presenting itself. By the 5th time you would think I’d have become a better judge of others character. Nope. I certainly am now tho. Saddest part of it all? I won’t allow myself to trust anyone again. Never. An essential element w/in ourselves to allow another in our lives. We are not meant to be alone. It’s quite clear to me now that I must learn something much larger. I won’t be used. I won’t allow any betrayal and keep that person in my life. If I see you can’t be honest? I’ll tell u everything I’ve seen of your behaviour an walk away. I will not be everyones Scapegoat. I know my value. I know my worth. If someone can’t see who I am ? It’s not my problem. I’ve learned it’s simply a matter of expressing what is tolerable, acceptable and what’s not. Don’t expect me to give respect to you if you have none for me. Maybe to some ppl I seem harsh. I’m not. I’ve just reached the level of removing anyone that’s deliberately hurtful, untrustworthy, demeaning, or just using me for their gain.
