That stress you’ve placed upon your shoulders is going to crush you. Get rid of it. You don’t need to be perfect. You don’t need to have it all together. You don’t need to please everyone. Place that heavy burden on the ground. Throw it into the sea. Expel it from your being. You will be lighter in mind, body, and soul. You have to learn to say no without feeling guilty. Setting boundaries is healthy. You need to learn to respect and take care of yourself.

Hi, you have mentioned a very good and valid point. We must learn to say ‘no’ when ever it’s required. If we don’t learn it, than we will have carry many unnecessary burden on ourselves. Thanks…:)
Yes Yes no is in the Dictionary use it!
Wow does this ever resonate with me
as I have been living out the lessons of embracing
self respect for the last10 days or so and have been
embracing standing up for myself through respect,
compassion and forgiveness for both myself and everyonelse.
I had a huge insightthrough a breakdown this week in how I was allowing myself to be disrespected by subborning my truth not to hurt someonelse.
The next day I had a lifelong issue breakthrough with my mother around mutual self respect for each other that has transformed our relationship to anew plateau of beingness.
The synchronicity at play here is joyfilled for me.
Thank you
Donald
For us in Africa, this is one discipline we need.
“Learned to say NO without feeling guilty” very well said,
But I hope I had this courage to say so…

be careful when you say no, it really is a culture-specific attitude, it might be great in the USA but it could lead to unwelcome social rejection, job loss, heavy stress, segregation in other countries. In those, simply say yes and then do whatever the F you want to…
A lesson I am now learning at 50.
I still find it hard to say NO at 64.
And the abuse from toxic family people is very hurtful
Just started !
when i say NO…..i MEAN IT!!!!!
