“Let me tell you this: if you meet a loner, no matter what they tell you, it’s not because they enjoy solitude. It’s because they have tried to blend into the world before, and people continue to disappoint them.”
― Jodi Picoult, My Sister’s Keeper

And I’ll be gone, gone tonight
The ground beneath my feet is open wide
The way that I been holding on too tight
With nothing in between
The story of my life
I take her home
I drive all night to keep her warm
And time… is frozen …
The story of my life
I give her hope
I send her love
Until she’s broke
Inside
The story of my life
Written on these walls are the colors that I can’t change
Leave my heart open but it stays right here in its cage…
Story of my life … ❤️
I agree being lonely is sad for anyone. But being single and alone is more of an option for some than you think. I do believe their are some people like myself that are introvert and prefer to be free and to themselves. Why must the world make it out to be weird or strange. This world is made up of all kinds of people with different types of personalities. I for one thinks a person who needs constant attention and company perhaps need to allow themselves some ” Me time” to discover themselves.
Being alone gives you time to heal. After you free yourself from the heartaches and pain of loosing the person you spent 20 plus years with. Then find yourself without breaking hearts of caring people who would be their for you thru the good times and the bad. As long as you understood what what the mind set is. Don’t be the person that ruins a tender heart you lean on and use as a rebound. She might not be rich, drive nice cars or live in a fancy home. But she cares enough to help those in need. Never asking for anything in return. All she wanted was more visits, more texts more time to enjoy each other. Hours, days, and weeks go by, no text, no response then out of the blues he wants her companionship, she stands him up for to shop for children not related to her, who have nothing at all to start school with. She text him thru the day and evening to tell him she was trying to get there. By the time she shoped for 5 children, 5 outfit each, He gets upset, now gives her the silent treatment, no call no text no breakup, no response till one day she finds out he’s playing the field by searching secretly. She’s hurt, wondering how long he’s played her for a fool. She thought she found what made her happy. She thought! Never put your feeling into someone who is only searching for lust. The other person always gets hurt. Walls go up again because she waited for him to get over the past. Another brokenheart story. All she wanted was the little things, not his money or gifts. But his time together to enjoy cuddling without a computer always at his fingertips. Or kept a secret not sure why, unless he was playing her to see other people then slowly release the ones that where not on his level of mindset. All I can say is this rose is blue, waiting to blossom. One day she will find her soul mate who cares and works as hard as she does to make sure everyone is taken care of. Cause a mothers job is never finished. But she still awaits her true soulmate.
When one door closes another door opens, never fall for a separated man that tells you the divorce is in the attorney hands. The rebound always gets hurt while he moves back to the past or forward to break another woman’s heart.blue rose is tired of being hurt, being blue all the time. All she wants is to be loved, accepted, cared for, and cuddled. A text to say sweet words to build her pride up knowing she found a wonderful guy who will share the walk of life with her. Blue rose awaits the man that build her up and not break her down.
