If I love you, I won’t give up easily. Leaving is my last option, but if you push me away I will walk away knowing I gave it my all.
If I love you, I won’t give up easily. Leaving is my last option, but if you push me away I will walk away knowing I gave it my all.
So true and heartbreaking poetry…
Yes, I loved you and had to give it up easily for it was the best option.
I had to move away instilling still and forever in my hearts the essence of friendship we built.
No regrets because I believe I gave it all…it may seem not enough but I know myself more than anybody.
I don’t believe this post resonates with every circumstance. Sometimes individuals push you away because they have been deeply hurt in the past and are afraid of getting their heart broken again. Pushing someone away doesn’t necessarily indicate a lack of love. They may love you so deeply that it scares them. Love is all about vulnerability and the very thought that they can have their hearts torn apart again is devastating. You will intuitively know whether or not the feelings you have are reciprocated by the other despite what they are saying when they push you away.
OH MY THIS IS SO TRUE. YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT THIS PERSON HAS GONE THROUGH SOMETIME IN THEIR LIVES. THEY ARE VERY AFRAID OF BEING HURT AGAIN AND WILL NOT COMMIT TO A STRONG FEELING. SO THEY BUILD A LITTLE WALL AROUND THEMSELVES AND WILL NOT GET TOO SERIOUS. IT IS SO SAD BECAUSE THEY ARE LONELY AND FEEL LIKE NO ONE CARE. NO MATTER HOW HARD TO TRY TO LET THEM KNOW THAT YOU DO AND WILL FOREVER. IT IS SO FRUSTRATING AND SOON YOU JUST GIVE UP AND WALK AWAY , NEVER KNOWING IF YOU COULD HAVE HELPED OR NOT. YOU FEEL YOU HAVE FAILED.
