Freeze time

“Everyone has a certain part in their lives where they truly wish they could just freeze time. Whether it was three years ago, today, or still to come. Whether it was just a moment, a whole day, or a whole summer. Everyone has a time in their life when they wish everything would just stop. The world would stop turning and people would stop changing because to them, at that time, they were making the most beautiful memories.

  1. I have definitely been in that place more than a few times.

I call it the cotton candy moment. Like when you eat cottton candy
it is so full and light and delicious looking and smells awesome and then you take a huge bite as if it were an apple trying to squeeze the juice out of every bit of it and poof it is gone.Melted right on your lips and tongue instanly.

upon retros[ect and having been away from that place for quite a while
next time I get to that place I will flow into the moment rather than try to hold on to it or freeze it… to appreciate the moment as if the spped of time was moving at one hundreths of a secnd at a time like when you watch super super slow motion in a commercial.

  2. Oh yes this is very true. If one could imagine Heaven and Eternity this can be a taste of it.
These moments certainly erase to extinction those others times that we wished we never went through.

  3. Ah, more true words were never spoken. My frozen moment would be 1969. At age 18 my first true love departed for Vietnam. He did finally return in a few years, but by that time we had both changed so very much that a relationship between the two of would never again ‘be’. We tried again several years later. We were two entirely different people than before. Time & fate had changes both of us. I often wonder what our lives would had been like if that war had never happened.
