  1. Isn’t that the truth. My husband passed away almost 4 years ago and that pain of losing the love of your life never fades and there will always be a hole in my heart that nothing can heal.

  2. I’ve lost a spouse and then my only child. People often tell me time will heal all wounds.
    NEVER! My heart is not broken, it’s shattered. Don’t give advice unless you’ve truly been there. I know people are trying to comfort, but sometimes it’s better to offer a shoulder and some tissues.
