Depression is when you don’t really care about anything. Anxiety is when you care too much about everything. And having both is just like hell.
Depression is when you don’t really care about anything. Anxiety is when you care too much about everything. And having both is just like hell.
This picture quote says it all. I suffer from both anxiety and depression. There’so many people that I am around that don’t understand that I am unable to be a lovey-dovey and touchy-feely person and have no control over my ability to be so. I am happy just being by myself. My anxiety prevents me from being able to be around more than one person without wanting to remove myself from the situation. Solitude is where I find peace.
Anxiety is more because of over thinking. Too many thoughts and fear of failure are the causes. To apply a break on the thoughts that zip thru our mind, we need to practice meditation, and gain power from God almighty, to cope with it. Also, it is important to develop detachment from materialistic things and relationships. It is also important to believe that whatever happens, ultimately it will be good for me, my family and community that I live in. Meditation helps in gaining courage to face situations which are not under our control.
