Never apologize for being sensitive or emotional. It’s a sign that you have a big heart, and that you aren’t afraid to let others see it. Showing your emotions is a sign of strength.

It’s nice to be understood. I am a sensitive & emotional person and I have been criticized for it growing up. I was never allowed to express myself and be who I am. We live in a society where people think in order to survive & thrive, we should be aggressive, overly assertive, outspoken, etc. Leaving no room for the quiet & gentle souls. I know now that this isn’t true. It is the sensitive & emotional people who are more connected to their heart & soul. In a world that needs more healing, forgiveness & compassion, we need people connected to their heart & soul.
