100 of the Wisest Sayings.
100 of the Wisest Sayings.
#5 is so annoying. Unless a person is actually on the team or is employed by the team or is employed by the government, “we” didn’t win or lose; “they” won or lost. “We” don’t have a failed tax policy, “the government” has a failed tax policy. How a person sitting in his living room watching a game or is at a stadium say “we” won or “we” lost? Really? You were playing? What position did you play? How much is your yearly salary?
I know.. it’s America, and that’s just what is done here.
Those of you complaining about #100… Did you think that maybe they saved the best for last?
Let’s add another “lesson” to the list… Whatever number you want to give it – #Don’t be quick to judge
Another fav – # Treat others how you want to be treated.
Someone took the time to put this together and there are a lot of great words of wisdom. You took the time to read it.
My dad said that my grandmother used to say, “it could always be worse.” yes, sometimes we have bad days or things may not go right, but be happy for the days we have or have had with those we love.
And many more lessons can be included in this already plentiful list depending on lessons we’ve each learned.
#rant over – don’t worry, be happy 🙂
What a great list! May I add a couple more?
–Never belittle yourself. Especially never belittle yourself to critical people.
–So you don’t feel like going? Go anyway. You’ll probably have a better time than everybody else.
–Always carry yourself with dignity. You are, after all, somebody’s son or daughter, and you are precious to them.
–Bring your best, give your best, smile the longest.
–Kind words cost nothing but a little thought. Yet they can brighten somebody’s day, and maybe even many of their days.
