When someone treats you like you’re just one of many options, help them narrow their choice by removing yourself from the equation. Sometimes you have to try not to care, no matter how much you do. Because sometimes you can mean almost nothing to someone who means so much to you. It’s not pride – it’s self-respect. Don’t expect to see positive changes in your life if you surround yourself with negative people. Don’t give part-time people a full-time position in your life. Know your value and what you have to offer, and never settle for anything less than what you deserve.

Such a nice paragraph of words! I must wonder however just how wealthy and INDEPENDENT one should be before following these words? For real! Not just in your mind! In all my experiences and in MY TRUTH these are the word of a very rich man who can have whatever his hearts desires. Good for him, I am getting there and will always care enough to sacrifice just a little of me each day! I would hate to feel like the slave WE all really are :)! Democracy! Please! It is all what you make of it so before you extract yourself from a little discomfort, I say redirect your thoughts and find some gratitude before becoming too full of self respect, please, and remember who you do it for with a smile? Ok, I done! Phew! I hate it when you make me have to say somethings!

I never understand myself why I let a person do this to me. When he drives three hours and has to rush back home to the gym. When he says he has his dog with him and can’t leave him at his Mom’s to come see me. Hmm, its time for me to wake up and realize I mean nothing to this man.
