Life is not about riding ina BMW or Porsches. It’s about walking on a cold pleasant night, holding hands with your loved one, chatting, murmuring and whispering. Life is not about enjoying Five Star dining. It’s about, enjoying, laughing to your heart’s content, a simple coffee shop with all your friends, talking about everything and nothing. Yes, the joy you get here, you will not get in any of the world’s restaurants. Life is not about purchasing a luxurious huge gift on your wife’s birthday. It’s about the way you hold her in your arms, that one passionate hug and a gentle kiss. The loving words you whisper into her heart and making her feel loved. Life is not about having a night’s stay in an expensive luxury hotel. It’s about falling asleep in the arms of the one you love. Life is not about wearing an expensive couture bridal dress. It’s about saying those special vows and living by them through the good times and hard times. Life is not about wealth, property, money or richness. It’s about friendship, love, family, trust, faith and the little things that bring the biggest miracles into our lives.

Was married to a man with money and was miserable. Spent all his time working even on the weekends. Had no time for me and abandoned. Now I am with someone who makes very little, this summer he has taken me camping to the most beautiful places I’ve ever been, taught me to fish, rode a horse, caught crawdads, helped me lose my extra weight on romantic evening walks in the country. Makes time for me everyday. Free hugs and kisses.

I wish there were more ladies that actually felt that way. This is not from a jaded or angry point of view. It is just from the way dating and relationships have become in the internet age. Being a 46 year old man that desperately clings to the ideals honesty and clearity, there seems to be more “game playing” now than there was in high school. Women are always looking for bigger and better, brighter and shinier. At least it seems to be in the area of Georgia I live in. It is an evil dichotomy, if a man flirts and leads you to belive he is interested and decides he is not, he is a jerk. If a woman does the same, it is just her cute girly personality. Remember men have the same feelings too. We get smitten as well. Sorry to rant, but please could woman from your article “This is What Life is All About” please come my way so I can love her the rest of my life!

Time is something we can’t get back. Once it’s gone the memories that could have been there will be no more. Love with passion for in the end the last thing standing should be you with your best friend.

SO TRUE!!!! People are so materialistic these days and trying to be who has a better looking partner, car or WHATEVER….theY have forgotten who they really are or where they came from. It’s sad but it’s the TRUTH!! Love is about accepting that person you fell in love with for whatever reason that msy be not the materialistic things.
