Trust takes years to build, seconds to break, forever to repair. So think twice about trusting a person who has let you down more than twice. Once was a warning, twice was a lesson and anything more is taking advantage.

I don’t want a perfect relationship. I want someone I can trust and who won’t be cheating on me physically or emotionally. Everyone needs someone who loves them completely and who won’t play games with their heart. Last but not least, I’m a strong believer that when it comes to relationships, remaining faithful is not an option but a priority. Loyalty means the world. – Bns.

Listen to your heart; start recognizing when something isn’t good for you and be strong enough to let it go. A person can only waste the time you give them an opportunity to waste. Stop trying to open doors for people who constantly shut you out. Make sure the interest is shown in the effort, the talk is supported by the actions, and the trust is earned through the consistency.

Never discredit your gut instinct. You’re not being paranoid. Your body can pick up vibrations, some better than others, and if something deep inside you says something’s not right about a person or situation, trust it.

I’ve learned that no matter how much I care, some people just don’t care back. I’ve Learned that you cannot make someone love you. All you can do is be someone who can be loved. The rest is up to them. I’ve learned that you should always leave loved ones with loving words. It may be the last time you see them. I’ve learned that your family won’t always be there for you. It may seem funny, but people you aren’t related to can take care of you and love you and teach you to trust people again. Families aren’t biological. I’ve learned that it takes years to build up trust, and only seconds to destroy it.

You deserve honesty. You deserve transparency. You deserve someone who respects you enough to never lie to your heart. You deserve appreciation. You deserve loyalty. You deserve someone who would never abuse your trust. You deserve love. You deserve someone who would still be there for you even when everyone else has walked away. You deserve someone who’s real. Never settle for less. — Trent Shelton

She doesn’t trust easily- you can see that in the distance she creates between herself and everyone around her, but she has much love to offer, and you can see it in the kindness that’s in the smiles she gives out to everyone around her. She has millions of chaotic galaxies of thoughts, thousands of tangled up worlds of words and places in her mind, and you can see it in the way her eyes always seem lost, like they are somewhere else. She always wants to be somewhere else, it shows in the way she’s always rushing and moving, the way she’s always restless. Life never went easy on her, and she didn’t go easy on herself either. She is strong and you can see it in her eyes, you can sense it in her voice. She believes that her body can physically rebuild and heal itself. I think that’s because she knew how to recover by herself after life had broken her. She knows how it’s like to be under-appreciated. So if you can’t see the beauty in her quirks, if you don’t think that maybe she might be a little piece of magic, don’t you dare and say that she is just a girl; because she’s a masterpiece.

I’m the kind of person who tries their best not to take life for granted, to live a lot, make memories and to love with everything I have. I’ll never give up for I believe in myself, but most of all I’ll fight for myself. Sure I’ll screw up. I’ll make mistakes but I’ll try to learn from them. In relationships, I won’t trust you until you’ve proven yourself. But I’ll love you with everything I have.

There are people who have broken your heart. Who have hurt you. Who have broken your trust. But look carefully. There are some who love you, who trust you and are proud of you. Yes, there were things that didn’t work. There were moments when life was really harsh. But think carefully. There were moments when things worked out the way you wanted. When you were smiling. When life was pleasant. Yes, you made mistakes. You felt bad for yourself. But think carefully. There were moments when you were proud of yourself. When you followed your heart. When you did what you wanted to do. So relax. Your past is gone. Shape your future and have fun in the present. Life is never the way we want it to be. But that’s the way it is. You are not perfect. No one else is. You have flaws. Everyone has. You made mistakes. Everyone has. You failed at something. Everyone has. You can try again. So relax. You are a good human being. You are lovable. You are beautiful. Don’t be so harsh on your life. Love yourself. Because you deserve the best and that is you.

Never trust a mirror, for a mirror always lies. It makes you think that all you’re worth can be seen from the outside. Never trust a mirror, it only shows you what’s skin deep. You can’t see how your eyelids flutter, when you’re drifting off to sleep. It doesn’t show you what the world sees, when you’re only being you. Or how your eyes light up, when you’re loving what you do. It doesn’t capture when you’re smiling, where no-one else can see. And your reflection cannot tell you everything you see. Never trust a mirror, for it only shows your skin. And if you think that it dictates your worth, it’s time you looked within.

I value people who are down on their luck yet they keep a positive outlook. I respect people who have wounds that tell an intense story of trust. I commend the folks with hurts that run as deep as rivers but they keep walking onward. I cherish the broken people because sometimes they’ll give you a piece of their story to learn from. I highly regard those who have gone through storm after storm but walk out more determined than ever. I think this is so because I can relate and their walk encourages me and for this I will tell my heart to never give up.

If someone is not treating you with love and respect, it is a gift if they walk away from you. If that person doesn’t walk away, you will surely endure many years of suffering with him or her. Walking away may hurt for a while, but your heart will eventually heal. Then you can choose what you really want. You will find that you don’t need to trust others as much as you need to trust yourself to make the right choices.

Life is not about riding ina BMW or Porsches. It’s about walking on a cold pleasant night, holding hands with your loved one, chatting, murmuring and whispering. Life is not about enjoying Five Star dining. It’s about, enjoying, laughing to your heart’s content, a simple coffee shop with all your friends, talking about everything and nothing. Yes, the joy you get here, you will not get in any of the world’s restaurants. Life is not about purchasing a luxurious huge gift on your wife’s birthday. It’s about the way you hold her in your arms, that one passionate hug and a gentle kiss. The loving words you whisper into her heart and making her feel loved. Life is not about having a night’s stay in an expensive luxury hotel. It’s about falling asleep in the arms of the one you love. Life is not about wearing an expensive couture bridal dress. It’s about saying those special vows and living by them through the good times and hard times. Life is not about wealth, property, money or richness. It’s about friendship, love, family, trust, faith and the little things that bring the biggest miracles into our lives.

I pray that You will use the storm I am experiencing now to grow new flowers in my life in ways I never expected and help me appreciate the ones I’ve already been given. You deserve someone who will be honest with you. You deserve someone who will respect you. Someone who will treasure your heart. Someone who would never abuse your trust and who will cherish you. You deserve someone who will stand there, hold you in their arms after a fight, and will never leave you, no matter how hard things can get. You deserve someone who’s REAL and loyal.

I’ve learned that no matter how much I care, some people just don’t care back. I’ve learned that you cannot make someone love you. All you can do is be someone who can be loved. The rest is up to them. I’ve learned that it takes years to build up trust, and only seconds to destroy it. I’ve learned that there are people who love you dearly, but just don’t know how to show it.+

Relationships are harder now because conversations became texting, arguments became phone calls, feelings became subliminal messages online. Sex became easy, the word love gets used out of context, insecurities have become your way of thinking. Getting jealous became a habit, trust has been lost, cheating became an accident, leaving became the only option and being hurt became natural.

It’s really scary when you get attached to someone. You spend time with them, you get to know them. You find yourself knowing their favorite color, food, movie, song. You discover their flaws and their talents. And as time goes on, you learn more and more, absorbing every second of detail without even realizing it. Then one day, you wake up and realize how much this person actually means to you, and you love them for every strength and weakness. They make you feel warm and secure, but most of all, they bring you happiness. And to bring happiness to someone in such a way is a strong and powerful thing. It could break a person completely. Some say those who fall in love are young and dumb. I say they show an incredible amount of bravery. It takes courage to trust somebody with your entire heart.  ~Unknown

Learn how to lead your heart; start recognizing when something isn’t good for you and be strong enough to let it go. A person can only waste the time you give them an opportunity to waste. Stop trying to open doors for people who constantly shut you out. Make sure the interest is shown in the effort, the talk is supported by the actions, and the trust is earned through the consistency.

Smart girls are the overthinkers, the different ones. They know what the real world is like. They analyze every little thing in life. Why? To avoid getting hurt. To find happiness. They stay up at night trying to think about every possible situation to get through all the problems. They think too much. They trust fewer people. Their insecurity proves their respect toward themselves. Of course they try to live away from a drama-filled life. Smart girls know their worth. Now those are the ones worth keeping by your side.

Love someone who is honest. Honest with you, with others, and with themselves. You cannot love someone you do not trust. Find someone who willingly shares responsibility. You will be a team in every single sense. Find someone you cherish togetherness with. And someone who understands the importance of alone time. Someone who values your opinion. Someone with a willingness to learn. A person with an open mind. Find someone who makes it easy to feel grateful. For everything. Wit is important. Life is too short not to love someone who loves to laugh. Make sure they are somebody who lets you cry, too. Despair will come. Find someone that you want to be there with you through those times. Do not settle for second best. This sort of love is out there.

It is not easy to live life sometimes. To face the world with a smile when you’re crying inside. It takes a lot of courage to reach down inside yourself, hold on to that strength and know that tomorrow is a new day with new possibilities. But if you can just hold on long enough to see this through and trust that you can survive this; you’ll come out a new person, stronger and as long as you don’t give up and keep pushing forward, no matter how hopeless things seem, you WILL make it.”

There’s no telling if the broken pieces will fit together again next time around. Do not harden me. I want to keep loving the world and the people in it. Please treat me kindly. Handle me with the care you’d give to your favorite glass. I want to love you but I can’t until you earn my trust. Do not drop me. In return I will love you as fiercely.

“Let whatever you do today be enough. Let go of the judgement you have about what you should be or could be doing, and today, allow yourself to simply be. Quiet the voice telling you to do more and be more, and trust that in this moment, who you are, where you are at, and what you are doing is enough. You will get to where you need to be in your own time. Until then, breathe. Breathe and be patient with yourself and your process. You are doing the best you can to cope and survive amid your struggles, and that’s all you can ask of yourself. It’s enough. You are enough.”

It may seem funny, but people you aren’t related to can take care of you and love you and teach you to trust people again. Families aren’t always biological. I’ve learned that it takes years to build up trust, and only seconds to destroy it.

I don’t want to settle for ordinary love. I want a love to be one of a kind. I want to wake up every morning next to the person I love and tell them how blessed I am. I want to be with someone who sees my worse, but encourages me to be my best. I want to be able to laugh with the person I love but have a conversation where we share our deepest thoughts. A relationship based on mutual trust, respect and loyalty. A love so special that it will last a lifetime.

You deserve honesty. You deserve transparency. You deserve someone who respects you enough to never lie to your heart. You deserve appreciation. You deserve loyalty. You deserve someone who would never abuse your trust. You deserve love. You deserve someone who would still be there for you even when everyone else has walked away. You deserve someone who’s REAL. Life has taught me that you can’t control someone’s loyalty. No matter how good you are to them, doesn’t mean that they will treat you the same. No matter how much they mean to you, doesn’t mean that they’ll value you the same. Sometimes the people you love the most, turn out to be the people you can trust the least.

I’ve been walked on, used and forgotten and I don’t regret one moment of it, because in those moments I’ve learned a lot. I’ve learned who I can trust and can’t. I’ve learned the meaning of friendship. I’ve learned how to tell when people are lying and when they’re sincere. I’ve learned how to be myself, and appreciate the truly great people in my life as they arrive.

I want a bestfriend I can sleep with, make love to, travel with, shop with, dream with, and live with. I want a partner in crime, a life partner. Someone that I can laugh with and build with. Somebody that I can trust with my heart, my money, and my life. Somebody I’m not afraid to lose because I know they’ll always be there. Relationships just aren’t for me but a partnership, I’ll take that.

Loyalty is built on trust. If you’re one of those “trust no one” people, then I can’t let you get close because it’s only a matter of time before you switch. I don’t play games. I don’t do “sometimey” and I don’t respect the love unless it’s unconditional. It’s 3 things I need: trust, loyalty and consistency. If any one of those is not for you. I’m not the one for you.

“It is terrifying to think that one day you will trust somebody enough to let them see you naked. You will undress and remind them that you’ve stretch marks and birth marks and scars from having chicken pox when you were little and scars from all of the other things now. You will blush thousands of shades of red, painting yourself as a rose losing its petals. And that person – that person will take it all in. And I wonder if they will reassure you. But mostly, I wonder if they will even see anything worth reassuring you about. I hope they see each freckle on your back as if it’s a star and you are the whole universe to them.”
