I notice everything. And by everything, I literally mean everything. I notice when someone stops hitting me up like they used to. I notice when the way someone talks to me starts changing. I notice the little things that people do, and the little things they used to do. I notice when things change, and when it’s no longer the same. I notice every single little detail.
    I just don’t say anything.

    Just because I don’t react, doesn’t mean I didn’t notice.

People will notice the change in your attitude towards them but won’t notice their behavior that made you change.

Don’t underestimate me. I know more than I say, think more than I speak, & notice more than you realize. ~Brigitte Nicole

Sometimes people don’t notice the things you do for them until you stop doing them.

For as long as I can remember, I have felt more mature than my age. I have always had more of an understanding on things that other people never take notice of. I notice all of the fine details in everything. Perhaps this is why I so often prefer the solitude of my own mind. I am the only person who seems to understand me. If that isn’t lonely, then I don’t know what is.

I firmly believe in small gestures: pay for their coffee, hold the door for strangers, over tip, smile or try to be kind even when you don’t feel like it, pay compliments, chase the kid’s runaway ball down the sidewalk and throw it back to him, try to be larger than you are— particularly when it’s difficult. People do notice, people appreciate. I appreciate it when it’s done to (for) me. Small gestures can be an effort, or actually go against our grain but the irony is that almost every time you make them, you feel better about yourself. For a moment life suddenly feels lighter, a bit more Gene Kelly dancing in the rain.
