“Most of my life has been spent trying to shrink myself. Trying to become smaller. Quieter. Less sensitive. Less opinionated. Less needy. Because I didn’t want to be a burden. I didn’t want to be too much or push people away. I wanted people to like me. I wanted to be cared for and valued. I wanted to be wanted. So for years, I sacrificed myself for the sake of making other people happy. And for years, I suffered. But I’m tired of suffering, and I’m done shrinking. It’s not my job to change who I am in order to become someone else’s idea of a worthwhile human being. I am worthwhile. Not because other people think I am, but because I exist, and therefore I matter. My thoughts matter. My feelings matter. My voice matters. And with or without anyone’s permission or approval, I will continue to be who I am and speak my truth. Even if it makes people angry. Even if it makes them uncomfortable. Even if they choose to leave. I refuse to shrink. I choose to take up space. I choose honor my feelings. I choose to give myself permission to get my needs met. I choose me”

Thanks and also, hopefully in the mix are developing and growing maturity, wisdom, compassion and kindness. A healthy balance of behavior … yes, we are ourselves and constantly growing. Being who we are is self- respectful and responsibile. We do not inflict harm on others (or ourselves either). Being open, honest, and direct in life will help us express ourselves well. It also keeps us from being “what others want us to be. “

    You love based on conditions???
What a shame. Many do…I know.

There is no need to go out and scream ones opinion into the world – yes. Well being matters – yes.

But hurting the other is also not your RIGHT.

is it necessary to publish one side stories and hurt and hurt and hurt the other.

It’s exactly that feeling you give others is coming back to you, and now you can’t accept. Right? But there was no other option.

Every line written _ RE READ for yourself from the ones you are hurting. You ll find relevance to yourself…

This is the exact pain the other soul undergoes, please FEEL.

Talk or Let go. Trust the other, they are not immature or fool as you think.

Ha, they were the ones who still find you in any disguise you approach and shamelessly yet talk. No matter what you may blame or world may blame.

Take that much GUTS. Else Stop writing stories or comments like this. You don’t deserve to write like this.

Good thought. Choose yourself. Slways and what difference, you have always done that in our story.
When time came you chose yourself not me. Earned good name, spit all dirt on me and walked away.
My question is: then why feel now? If you really feel why not talk it out and end every hard feeling.
Or if you feel you weren’t wrong, maybe I deserved that shit then why comeback ?

Wow you hit it on the nail for me. This has happened to me and I could never put it into words. They keep calling me a independent Bitch. Men do these things and there called REAL MEN. I’m tired it’s 2017 and I still say, “Did you know I can vote?! Did you know I pay my taxes? I can drive too! I will not be shut out or shut up! I count, I matter!

this is why I love this man, because he is, who he is. Nobody should change himself and getting less. I always changed a lot for people and this was a fault. I try to become the best of me now, hopefully with sucess.
